375 HY-BR II Brand Hybrid (w/Apex™ Green) Alfalfa is an upgraded, newest generation hybrid with branch-roots.
375 HY-BR II is characterized by its aggressive regrowth, high yields and consistent forage quality.
375 HY-BR II is a fine stemmed variety producing superior dairy quality forage and is an excellent choice for the aggressive haymaker looking for a 4th and 5th cutting.
The main advantage of a hybrid alfalfa over traditional types are their uniformity in all areas: establishment, growth, cut and regrowth.
375 HY-BR II alfalfa is coated and pre-inoculated with an OMRI Listed coating and inoculation for improved establishment and growth. Inoculation is recommended when planting legumes.
*Details on Seed Coatings, Inoculations & the OMRI downloadable certificates on our Reference Page.
Establishment
Plant at 1/4″ depth. An ideal soil bed is moist, fertile and firm. Alfalfa prefers crumbly silt loam to sandy loam textures but alfalfa will grow well on most deep, well-drained soils with adequate internal and surface drainage. Plant at least 1/2″ depth on sandy soils.
Alfalfa may be planted in the spring or early fall. Apply lime and fertilizer as needed.
Your pH levels should be 6.5-7.0. Alfalfa will die if the soil is saturated for an extended period
Management
For maximum yields, it is important to have 20-30 plants per square foot during the seedling year for protection against weed competition.
Do not harvest alfalfa seeded in late summer/early fall until the following spring.
Allow new seedlings to start to bloom before the first harvest.
Cut alfalfa three-four times a year when stand is 25% flowered.

OUR PROMISE
A money-back guarantee, also known as a satisfaction guarantee, is essentially a simple guarantee that, if a buyer is not satisfied with a product or service, a refund will be made.
The 18th century entrepreneur Josiah Wedgwood pioneered many of the marketing strategies used today, including the satisfaction-or-money-back guarantee on the entire range of his pottery products. He took advantage of his guarantee offer to send his products to rich clientele across Europe unsolicited. The money-back guarantee was also a major tool of early U.S. mail order sales pioneers in the United States such as Richard Sears and Powel Crosley Jr. to win the confidence of consumers.
