Freedom Mr Red Clover (W/Apex Green)
Freedom Mr Red Clover (W/Apex Green)

Freedom! MR (w/Apex Green™) is Barenbrug’s very popular Red Clover cultivar named because of its freedom from pubescence (non-glandular hairs), and is one of the latest red clovers developed exclusively for Barenbrug USA with a new Mildew Resistant trait.
Freedom! MR promotes faster drying in the field and reduces the chance for loss of quality due to untimely rainfall and reduces the dustiness of hay, thus improving air quality, making Freedom! MR ideal for hay production.
Freedom! MR through breeding offers producers improved winter-hardiness and persistence.
Freedom! MR is also very palatable and nutritious making it a high forage quality variety for grazing mixtures.
Red clovers as a species are excellent Nitrogen producers and one of the fastest establishing legumes.

Freedom! MR Red Clover is coated & preinoculated with an OMRI Listed coating and inoculation for improved establishment and growth.
*Details on Seed Coatings, Inoculations & the OMRI downloadable certificates on our Reference Page.

Establishment

Plant at 1/4″ depth. An ideal soil bed is moist, fertile and firm. A soil test is recommended for proper plant establishment and growth. Red clovers can be planted, broadcast or frost-seeded succesfully.

Management

Graze or cut for hay when the red clover is ¼ to ½ in bloom. A second cutting or successive grazing should occur when red clover is ¼ in bloom. Leave at least 2 to 3 inches of growth after each harvest. Care should be taken to eliminate or appreciably reduce bloating of livestock when grazing. Keep lime and fertilizers (phosphorus and potash) at the proper level.

Guarantee

OUR PROMISE

A money-back guarantee, also known as a satisfaction guarantee, is essentially a simple guarantee that, if a buyer is not satisfied with a product or service, a refund will be made.
The 18th century entrepreneur Josiah Wedgwood pioneered many of the marketing strategies used today, including the satisfaction-or-money-back guarantee on the entire range of his pottery products. He took advantage of his guarantee offer to send his products to rich clientele across Europe unsolicited. The money-back guarantee was also a major tool of early U.S. mail order sales pioneers in the United States such as Richard Sears and Powel Crosley Jr. to win the confidence of consumers.
