Alta-Swede Mammoth Red Clover is a tall, quick growing “single cut” clover.
Alta-Swede is taller and coarser than Medium Red Clover and is about 2 weeks later in maturity.
It is considered a single cut perennial due to its slow regrowth, thus it is used primarily as a green manure crop.
Alta-Swede is very winter-hardy and does well in most soils and growing conditions.
Alta-Swede Mammoth Red Clover is pre-inoculated with an OMRI Listed inoculation for improved establishment and growth. Inoculation is recommended when planting legumes.
